HIVEN
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 13, 2026
At Hiven, we believe in making intentional choices, including how we handle your information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or join our waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
When you join the Hiven waitlist, we collect:
Email address: To communicate with you about Hiven, product development, availability, and our first launch.
Optional survey responses: If you answer questions about habits or behaviors you'd like to interrupt, we use your responses to better understand customer interests and inform product development.
Website information: Our website hosting and form providers may automatically process technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and basic website usage data.
We do not currently collect payment information through our waitlist.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Manage our waitlist and communicate with interested subscribers.
Share product development updates, launch announcements, and first-access opportunities.
Understand customer interests and improve our products and experience.
Maintain the security and functionality of our website.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
3. How We Share and Store Information
We use third-party service providers to operate our website and manage waitlist submissions. These may include Framer for website hosting and forms, and Google Workspace for storing signup information if connected.
These providers may process information on our behalf to deliver their services.
We do not sell personal information or share waitlist email addresses with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect our rights, security, or users.
4. Cookies and Website Analytics
Our website and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for website functionality, security, and performance.
If we introduce additional analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, we will update this policy to explain those practices.
Do Not Track: We do not currently operate a separate response mechanism for browser Do Not Track signals. Third-party services used on our website may have their own tracking practices, as described in their privacy policies.
5. Data Retention and Security
We retain waitlist information while it is reasonably necessary to manage Hiven's launch, communicate with subscribers, and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including limiting access to the services and accounts used to manage it. However, no online system is completely secure.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you've submitted by emailing ashley@tryhiven.com.
You can also unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe instructions provided in those emails or by contacting us directly.
